This bread recipe can be modified many ways with the addition of cinnamon and raisins, or caraway seeds, or sun-dried tomatoes and a little sheep’s milk Romano cheese, for example. Be creative and use the basic dough recipe to make small round bread rolls or twisted breads or bake the dough in a oblong bread pan for a traditional shaped loaf. Vary your baking time accordingly, less time for smaller breads, etc. NOTE: This bread freezes beautifully so try freezing
slices for those rushed times. |
